It has a wonderful response to a very wide range of dynamics and in the hands of a player with mature technical skills, this Violin will sing! The sweet tone has a solid core and one can hear the maturity of sound that can only come with age. violin #72 has a solid-one piece flame maple back. It has a recorded repaire done in 1898 by Altrichter in Frankfurt on Oder, Germany.
