Coconut Peat

The company has been producing coconut fiber and coconut peat for the local market since January 2009. The average production is only 10 metric tons a month for the cocofiber because the decorticating or defibering machine has small production capacity. This facility is owned by a multi-purpose cooperative based in Paranas, Samar. Our company took over the facility, hired local labor, and bought coconut husks from the coconut farmers in the area. We are proud to have supported more than 100 families in the area.
