The petrol engines feature the Audi valvelift system, which helps to reduce fuel consumption. The two TDI® engines are efficient common rail systems.
FSI® and TFSI®: efficient and sporty
Outstanding efficiency, excellent dynamics: the 2.0 TFSI® engine combines the advantages of a turbocharger with Audi FSI® technology. Thanks to this combination the potent petrol engine achieves an output of 155 kW (211 bhp). In conjunction with the optionally available S tronic® the Audi Q5 2.0 TFSI quattro sprints from a standstill to 100 km/h in 7.2 seconds.
FSI® technology originates from Audi motorsport and represents a particularly economical form of direct injection. The 3.2 FSI engine delivering 199 kW (270 bhp) accelerates the Audi Q5 to 100 km/h in only 6.9 seconds and on to a top speed of 234 km/h.
Consumption figures and emission values:
Fuel consumption, combined: 8.4-9.3 l/100 km
CO2 emissions, combined: 195-218 g/km
TDI®: efficient and powerful
Both TDI® engines for the Audi Q5 are characterised by their superior refinement, excellent engine acoustics and agile handling. The 2.0 TDI® engine develops 125 kW (170 bhp); its power build-up is even and fascinating. The maximum torque of 350 Nm is available from as low as 1,750 rpm. The Audi Q5 2.0 TDI quattro sprints to 100 km/h in 9.9 seconds.
The most potent diesel engine in the Audi Q5 is a 3.0 TDI® unit delivering 176 kW (240 bhp). In only 6.5 seconds it accelerates the performance SUV from 0 to 100 km/h. A supreme driving feel: sporty and demanding - and at the same time relaxing and comfortable.
Consumption figures and emission values:
Fuel consumption, combined: 6.7-7.5 l/100 km
CO2 emissions, combined: 175-199 g/km
